Since 1983, Michael’s Menswear has helped men throughout the Black Hills find quality clothing that fits their needs, lifestyle, and personality. From suits and special occasions to everyday menswear, the focus has always been personal service, knowledgeable guidance, and getting the details right.

Michael Konvalin opened Michael’s Menswear after a career in accounting and a growing knowledge of menswear. Rather than leave the Black Hills for a new position, he stayed in Rapid City and built a store around one-on-one service. Michael’s has been a fixture on St. Joseph Street in historic downtown Rapid City ever since.

Michael Konvalin opened Michael’s Menswear in 1983 after seeing a need for quality menswear in the Black Hills. Today, Michael’s remains part of historic downtown Rapid City on St. Joseph Street.

The fit doesn’t stop at the fitting room. Michael’s offers in-house tailoring and alterations, with alterations included on new purchases.
